The Department of Statistics welcomes your generosity and support. The Department of Statistics promotes high quality teaching, research, and scholarship in theoretical and applied statistics and biostatistics. Private support enables us to recruit gift students, support graduate students with fellowships, provide student and faculty with travel funding to present their research at conferences, and sponsor special seminars and lectures.

Your gift to the department may be made to honor a department member or student, to support an existing fund or scholarship, or to create a new fund for either current needs or the support of programs into the future. To contribute online, please visit the UConn Foundation’s secure giving page.

For more information about giving opportunities or to discuss options for making a gift of more than $5,000, please contact our development officer in the UConn Foundation, Becky Salustri, at 860-486-6851 or by e-mail at
